In 1989, Seton Hall men’s basketball set its sails for glory in Seattle. Through a competitive season of Big East play, the Pirates earned a No. 3 seed in the 1989 NCAA tournament. Seton Hall took down nationally ranked opponents Indiana, UNLV, and Duke handily, before taking the 1989 national championship game against Michigan into overtime. This retro design celebrates the Pirates’ impressive run to become the national runners-up that year.
